The Company Marin Executive Suites started out as an idea in the 1980's between husband and wife, David and Kathy Klein. David was working as a Frank Howard Allen realtor and Kathy in customer service in the hotel and travel industry. On occasion, Kathy was asked by her hotel guests for referrals to longer term housing and larger accommodations. In addition, David noticed that clients that sold their homes and families relocating to Marin needed a place to stay while looking for a new home. This need for comfortable, fully-furnished short-term housing soon became reality. David and Kathy converted a few of their properties into furnished rentals, advertised throughout the real estate community as your temporary "home away from home" and the business took off. Later on, his personal friends, Marc Miller, a financial advisor, and his wife Stacy, also a veteran hospitality industry professional, joined in. Today the company manages over 30 individual properties throughout Marin County.
